Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Venkata Narayana K of the real estate company Prestige Estates Projects has left the company to pursue personal interests. In August of 2017, Venkata became Prestige Estates’ CEO. In all, he worked for this company for twenty years.
With effect from the close of business hours on May 10, 2024, Venkata has tendered his resignation as both the company’s CEO and from the board committees, the company notified the stock exchanges.
The Friday meeting of the board saw the acceptance of his resignation.
But until August 10, 2024, he will remain a non-KMP (key managerial personnel) in order to finish the seamless transfer.
Venkata was the company secretary and chief financial officer of the firm before taking over as CEO in 2017.
In his resignation letter, Venkata said, “After thoughtful consideration, I have decided to pursue other interests, including establishing a real estate fund.”
The company’s strategy was laid out by appointing different business leaders for each vertical and area, according to Irfan Razack, Chairman and Managing Director. Amit Mor is the company’s CFO as a result.
The executive directors and CEOs of the residential and business development segments are Swaroop Anish, Juggy Marwaha, and Muhammad Ali. The executive directors and CEOs of the retail and hospitality segments are Suresh Singaravelu and Juggy Marwaha.
The CEO and Executive Director of West India is Tariq Ahmed.
The Executive Director, Faiz Rezwan, will supervise the entire construction and project management process, including important facets like contracting, value engineering, and procurement.
Business growth is the responsibility of Executive Director Zayd Noaman, who will also be in charge of corporate finance and strategic investments. The hospitality team will be led by Executive Directors Omer Bin Jung and Zaid Sadiq.
The director, Uzma Irfan, is in charge of marketing, branding, and corporate communications.
Sana Rezwan, Executive Director, will concentrate on determining North India’s growth trajectory, especially for the National Capital Region.
