ViaPlus Hires Shreenivas Prabhakararao to Lead Company Operations in India

Shreenivas’ remarkable background in technology and the banking industry is an ideal complement to ViaPlus.

ViaPlus, a subsidiary of VINCI Highways, announces the appointment of Shreenivas Prabhakararao as CEO of the company’s India operations. A senior technology leader with over 20 years of international experience in the IT and financial services industries, Shreenivas brings the leadership and technical expertise to support ViaPlus’ strategic ambitions from its two locations in Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Shreenivas has worked throughout his career on digital transformation initiatives, specifically focused on product and application development, enterprise architecture, and IT shared services. He served most recently as managing director of technology at financial services firm State Street, where he led its digital technology group in India and various advanced engineering functions. Previously, Shreenivas held leadership and consultant roles at Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, US Bank, and TIBCO Software.

Shreenivas holds a MS in Computer Science from Oregon State University and an MBA from the Indian School of Business.
