Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2024: Yogesh Kulkarni has joined Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited as the new Chief Information Security Officer
(CISO). In this role, he will oversee the cybersecurity strategy and governance for both Crompton Greaves and Butterfly Appliances, focusing on key areas such as risk management, compliance, incident management, and data privacy. His leadership will play a crucial role in fortifying the company’s cyber resilience, particularly in the domains of loT and OT security.
Prior to joining Crompton Greaves, Yogesh Kulkarni served as Senior Manager –
Information Security Operation Lead at Pidilite Industries Limited for over four years.
During his tenure, he spearheaded cybersecurity operations, implemented zero-trust networks, and managed endpoint and application security, among other critical initiatives.
Before Pidilite, Yogesh worked as Information Security Manager – Global at Lupin Limited for approximately four years. He was instrumental in managing security operations for both India and global subsidiaries, including overseeing OT and cloud security, and both India and global subsidiaries, including overseeing OT and cloud security, and implementing advanced network solutions like SDWAN.
Earlier, at WNS Global Services, Yogesh held the position of Group Manager – IT Security & Network, where he managed global network and security operations, including IT audits and firewall management, showcasing his expertise in delivering robust security infrastructure.
His foundational experience includes a nearly eight-year tenure at Reliance
Communications as Manager – Network & Security Infrastructure Lead, where he was responsible for network operations, IT infrastructure projects, and NOC operations across LAN, WAN, and MPLS environments.
