Yuga Labs has acquired metaverse startup Roar Studios, as the former announced.
The metaverse startup’s founder and CEO, Eric Reid, will report to the CTO, Mike Seavers, by taking on the role of General Manager at Otherside. Working alongside the Yuga executive team to lead its development and production, Eric Reid will be responsible for the development vision of Otherside.
Roar Studios, which allows artists and fans to connect, collaborate, and compete in real-time from anywhere, is the developer of ROAR, an immersive media experience.
