Animesh Kumar, President – HR & Transformation at Zee Entertainment Enterprises, has announced his resignation, effective June 4, citing a desire to explore interests outside the company.
Dheeraj Jaggi has been named acting chief human resources officer by Zee Entertainment.
According to a release, Jaggi, who has 20 years of expertise in HR strategy, has been in charge of enterprise culture and capability development as well as human resources for the Content SBU, one of Zee Entertainment Enterprises’ biggest strategic business units.
“It is with a mixture of deep gratitude and profound emotion that I tender my resignation as President – HR & Transformation. I have been contemplating this, and as we wind down the year, I think this is the right time for me to move on,” said Kumar.
In 2018, Kumar became the President – HR & Transformation at Zee Entertainment.
Kumar has formerly held positions at IDFC Bank, YES Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, ABN AMRO, Future Group India, Thomas Cook, and Marico.
