Pankaj Verma has been named Chief Technical Officer of Zurich Kotak General Insurance (India) Limited. Pankaj, who has worked in the insurance industry for more than 30 years, will be in charge of the technical operations of the company, managing reinsurance, claims processing, underwriting, and business growth. The goal of his strategic leadership is to propel Zurich Kotak’s expansion and fortify its place in the cutthroat insurance industry.
Pankaj was CTO at Gallagher prior to joining Zurich Kotak, where he worked to improve claims management systems and streamline underwriting procedures.
Along with working with well-known companies like Bharti AXA General Insurance, TATA AIG General Insurance, and Reliance General Insurance, he also held important positions at SBI General Insurance, where he oversaw underwriting and distribution projects. It is anticipated that Pankaj’s arrival will strengthen Zurich Kotak’s operational and technological skills due to his vast industry experience, guaranteeing continued growth and market expansion.
