The financial services company RHB Banking Group, with its headquarters in Malaysia, recently declared Alagesan Hanippuya as its new Head of Group Regional Information Technology.
With 17 years of experience managing IT projects in the banking, telecommunications, port, and logistics sectors, Alagesan is a PMP-certified project manager.
He has worked with multicultural stakeholders at regional levels, managing projects both in-person and remotely, and delivering excellent project outcomes in the areas of software development, IT infrastructure, cloud services, IaaS provisioning, customer onboarding, data center relocation, transition, and transformation projects.
As the head of IT for Singapore and Cambodia, he has over 8 years of experience with RHB Banking Group. He will oversee the bank’s IT across the entire region in his new position.
Alagesan had previously worked for IBM Malaysia as the department manager for the ANZ and ASEAN areas. He began his professional career with Juris Technologies in 2008 and has since held positions with BCS Information Systems and Privasia Sdn Bhd.
