Sandeep Pandey, the CTO of FWD Insurance, has been named the company’s new Group Chief Technology and Operations Officer, the pan-Asian life insurance provider said recently. In this new capacity, he will lead the company’s operations in addition to his CTO duties.
Sandeep is a talented IT executive with over 20 years of global expertise in digital transformation, customer experience, and information technology strategy. He has also worked extensively with FinTechs and InsurTechs, using partner ecosystems.
He has extensive expertise overseeing all aspects of IT operations, including planning, outsourcing, project and program management, implementation, and risk and catastrophe management. He has a proven track record of meeting deadlines and being under budget.
Sandeep was the CIO of Bupa before joining FWD Insurance, where he worked for almost four years. Prior to it, he served as AIA’s CTO for five years. Sandeep has held executive positions in IT at several businesses and has collaborated with the largest names in the industry, including AIG, Tata AIG Life Insurance, Procter & Gamble, L&T General Insurance, and AIGGS.
