Niall O’Sullivan has been appointed to the newly formed position of CIO in Dublin by investment firm Mercer.
O’Sullivan, the chief investment officer for global solutions, is in charge of overseeing the implementation and management of clients’ international investment plans.
O’Sullivan was a multi-strategy CIO at Neuberger Berman before returning to Mercers.

Michael Brand, who was previously employed by Cambridge Associate, was appointed global head of real assets in February.
Hooman Kaveh, Mercer’s global CIO, said: “We are delighted to welcome – and welcome back – these senior investment leaders as we continue to scale our platform and bring together the breadth and depth of the firm’s research and investment capabilities to drive optimal portfolio outcomes for clients.”
