Gaurav Roy, who reported to Tim Reiz, Chief Product & Technology Officer, was named Chief Technology Officer (CTO) by Accelya, replacing Gianni Cataldo, who became Chief Product Officer.

Roy will spearhead Accelya’s AI and technology projects in his new position, fostering innovation in the FLX ONE Airline Retailing Platform and hastening the digital transformation of airlines.

Roy, who is based in the United States, will concentrate on developing Accelya’s open, modular platform, which enables airlines to update and govern their retailing tactics.

Roy has a plethora of experience from high-growth startups and major international corporations like Google, HP, and Vodafone.

His noteworthy accomplishments include spearheading the creation of Samsung’s Tizen Smart TV platform, HP’s Workforce Experience Platform, and Samsung Knox, an Android security platform.

Roy is in a strong position to advance Accelya’s technology with this combination of enterprise-scale innovation and startup agility, making sure the FLX ONE platform offers dependable, secure, and scalable solutions that satisfy the intricate needs of airlines throughout the globe.

Roy’s responsibilities will include assuring enterprise-grade performance with a strong and secure platform architecture, improving AI-driven features to create optimal, data-driven customer experiences, and growing FLX ONE’s capabilities to suit changing airline needs.
