“On June 26, 2024, Mr. Adarsh Menon, the President of Zoomcar Holdings, Inc. (the ‘Company’), resigned from his role effective June 30, 2024. Mr. Menon’s departure was not related to any disagreements with the company.”
In January 2024, Adarsh Menon, a 20-year veteran of Flipkart and Hindustan Unilever, became the global president of Zoomcar. His hiring was anticipated to improve operational effectiveness and offer insightful industry knowledge to the self-driving car market, which is listed on the Nasdaq.
Menon’s tenure, however, was surprisingly short—it lasted just six months. With major leadership and financial challenges, the corporation is facing a critical moment in its history when he steps down, effective June 30, 2024.
Adarsh Menon resigned; why?
Menon’s resignation did not bring on any conflicts with the corporation, according to SEC filings.
The filing states:
“On June 26, 2024, Mr. Adarsh Menon, the President of Zoomcar Holdings, Inc. (the ‘Company’), resigned from his role effective June 30, 2024. Mr. Menon’s departure was not related to any disagreements with the company.”
Although the reasons behind his leaving are still unknown, co-founder and former CEO Greg Moran’s firing came just after he left. Concerns over the stability and strategic direction of the corporation have been raised by this string of leadership changes.
