Volkan joins GA Telesis with an impressive track record of leading technology and innovation initiatives across various industries.

GA Telesis, July 9, 2024, Fort Lauderdale, FL: GA Telesis, LLC, a global leader in commercial aviation services, announces the appointment of Volkan Emre as Chief Technology Officer (“CTO”) of its Digital Innovation Group (“DIG”). In his new role, Volkan will oversee digital innovations, new technologies, and AI-based systems aimed at revolutionizing the commercial airline industry.

Volkan joins GA Telesis with an impressive track record of leading technology and innovation initiatives across various industries. Most recently, he served as the Chief Revenue Officer at Tayse, a home décor company recognized on the Inc. 5000 list. At Tayse, Volkan founded DataMingle AI, spearheading the development of AI/ML and drone-powered IoT solutions that dramatically improved warehouse operations.

Volkan’s diverse career includes significant achievements such as:

  • Leading DataMingle AI to develop vision AI and drone-powered smart warehousing solutions, achieving 99% accuracy in cycle counts and reducing labor costs by 95%.
  • Driving revenue and innovation strategies in eCommerce and retail sales channels at Tayse, collaborating with major retailers like Ross Stores, TJ Maxx, and Macy’s, and eCommerce platforms including Wayfair, Amazon, and Walmart.
  • Founding Pergatech, Inc., where he led the development of AI-powered brand analytics platforms and secured partnerships with global start-ups and Fortune 500 companies in Europe.

Volkan’s extensive experience also includes corporate roles at global industrial manufacturing companies and nonprofits, including Eaton Corporation, where he managed FP&A for a $1.5 billion business segment, and at Global Communities, where he helped facilitate significant financial investments in international markets.

Volkan holds an Executive MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, an MA in International and Development Economics from HTW Berlin, a MS in Financial Economics from Istanbul Bilgi University, and a BA in Finance from Hacettepe University.
