Taking on this crucial position, Madhu will collaborate closely with Nutanix partners, sales teams, and local leadership.

Nutanix, a pioneer in cloud software and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions, has announced the appointment of Amal Madhu to the newly created position of Cloud Economist, a strategic move intended to increase cloud value for Indian enterprises.

Taking on this crucial position, Madhu will collaborate closely with Nutanix partners, sales teams, and local leadership. His primary goal will be to increase the value that cloud technologies bring to organizations—a crucial component in the rapidly evolving digital economy of today.

In his new role, Madhu said, “The IT landscape is evolving rapidly, with enterprises now focusing more on application modernization, cloud-native solutions, and advanced AI research. In the Asia-Pacific and Japan regions, 86% of IT decision-makers expect a positive impact of hybrid cloud on their businesses by 2024. This highlights a proactive approach towards leveraging a unified platform for efficient management and security of applications and data. My role as cloud economist at Nutanix will be instrumental in educating the market and executing the company’s vision. We are committed to showcasing the transformative capabilities of Nutanix, aiming to redefine the IT management experience for enterprises. Our collaborative team effort is geared towards empowering organizations to fully utilize Nutanix solutions for navigating the dynamic modern IT infrastructure landscape.”

Based in Bangalore and originally from Kerala, Madhu brings a wealth of experience to Nutanix, having worked on business value initiatives for enterprise deals for over 7 years. His experience includes both innovative and transformational stories that center around values.

He has about eight years of experience in sales strategy groups and a post-graduate degree in engineering. In an engineering services company, he started his career as a value engineer, solving clients’ basic technical problems. Subsequently, he worked for VMware as a sales strategy leader, overseeing the enterprise account business value strategy. At VMware, Madhu was crucial in developing strong business value stories for a range of IT modernization projects and was involved in customer and sales team enablement programs. Serving clients in many nations gives him a global perspective that he brings to his work at Nutanix.
