In order to engage both new and returning customers, drive innovation, and investigate strategic partnerships to fortify Swiggy’s market position, Ashwath will be in charge of developing and implementing the company’s growth and marketing strategy.

With the appointment of Ashwath Swaminathan as Chief Growth & Marketing Officer, Swiggy announced a major addition to its senior leadership team. In order to engage both new and returning customers, drive innovation, and investigate strategic partnerships to fortify Swiggy’s market position, Ashwath will be in charge of developing and implementing the company’s growth and marketing strategy.

He brings a lot of knowledge in consumer research, marketing, and business innovation from over two decades of experience, working in categories like tea, coffee, makeup, skincare, dental care, and deodorants. His stellar track record at HUL includes spearheading the category’s development, transforming Lakme into a purpose-driven, future-fit brand, and driving significant growth in the oral care sector to position HUL as a formidable No. 2 competitor.

Swiggy has strengthened its leadership team even more by adding important new members and elevating industry veterans to critical positions. Anirban Roy, VP of Growth, Revenue, and Category at Swiggy Instamart, and Dipak Krishnamani, VP of Swiggy Mall, are among the most recent arrivals.
