An advanced version of Seqrite’s flagship solution, the End Point Security has been launched by the company. Claiming to be targeted at protecting connected devices from cyber-attacks, the new version is called End Point Security 8.0 (EPS 8.0). With this version, the enterprise cyber security solutions provider Seqrite says, to manage a large number of endpoints for the SME segment, it has also improved the scale of this solution. As per the company, this will help customers reduce the deployment footprint and related maintenance activities. For regulators, auditors, and customers, this version now provides real-time protection for Linux and features enhanced compliance reporting.
While conducting several actions such as Delete and Quarantine the new version End Point Security 8.0 features Endpoint Threat Hunting, a technology that claims to help the users proactively scan their endpoints for the malicious IoCs (Indicators of Compromise) supplied to them by regulators, auditors, or their end customers. With given File Hashes, the unique file property, the scans can be done on-demand or on a recurring schedule. EPS 8.0 offers users Advanced Device Control, Data Loss Prevention, Vulnerability Scan, Patch Management, Web Filtering, Asset Management, Anti-ransom-ware and Behavioural Detection Systems.
