Google appoints Meta’s Archana Vohra as MD

Vohra was a senior director in the global business group for mid-market and small businesses at Meta prior to this assignment.

Google has appointed Meta’s Archana Vohra as managing director – payments and commerce in Asia Pacific.

Vohra took to LinkedIn to announce her movement. She stated, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Managing Director Payments and Commerce, Asia Pacific at Google! I’m happy to take on the new role at Google—a company that places respecting the user as one of its core values and walks the talk on kindness in leadership.”

Vohra was a senior director in the global business group for mid-market and small businesses at Meta prior to this assignment.

Her portfolio or teams at Meta encompassed program management, agency sales, business development, and account management. For Meta in India, she was in charge of spearheading the majority of the monetization across all business verticals, including developing and established clients.

Among Vohra’s responsibilities at Amazon India were revenue, business marketing, big partnerships, data quality, business analytics, and services.

Vohra began her professional career with Adlabs, Times Internet, New Delhi Television, and Amazon.
