Information Technology Department of Tamil Nadu conducts Cyber Security Awareness Programme to the officials of the various Departments of Government of Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu is one of the pioneers of adopting digital services in its various operations.
COVID-pandemic passively pushed the use of digital services across the globe, which in turn apparently invited a large volume of cyber threats. It, therefore, becomes extremely essential to make ourselves aware of these threats in order to secure our digital assets.
Information Technology Department of Government of Tamil Nadu, ELCOT, TNeGA, and CDAC have jointly taken steps forward to conduct such awareness programmes to the Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), Information Security Officer (ISOs), and other officials belonging to various departments of Tamil Nadu.
This program will result in the training of 3000+ Government Officials over 100 online sessions and 20 classroom practical sessions.
The programme was inaugurated by Thiru T. Mano Thangaraj, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, TN, Dr. Neeraj Mittal IAS, Principal Secretary IT, Thiru. Ajay Yadav IAS, Managing Director, ELCOT, Thiru. K. Vijayendra Pandian IAS, CEO, TNeGA, Cdr. L. R. Prakash (Retd.), Senior Director & Centre Head, CDAC Chennai on 01 March 2022.
