Hans, who is based in Taiwan, will be in charge of Intel’s whole operations in the Asia-Pacific area.

As part of its ongoing transformation initiatives, Intel Corporation announced the appointment of new executives for the Sales, Marketing, and Communications Group (SMG) for the India region and the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.

Hans Chuang has been named General Manager of SMG Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) with immediate effect. Hans, who is based in Taiwan, will be in charge of Intel’s whole operations in the Asia-Pacific area. This includes boosting revenue growth, interacting with the local ecosystem to generate new prospects, and fortifying connections with current partners and customers.

Hans has an MBA from McGill University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia.

“Intel is transforming, and I am excited to lead the company’s growth and innovation in APJ, one of the most diverse and fastest-growing regions for Intel. Leveraging the strength of our partners and continuing our commitment to building an open ecosystem that serves our customers in a transparent and secure manner is going to be key to our long-term success here in the APJ region,” said Hans.

Intel declared India to be a distinct area inside its SMG organization in March of this year in an effort to take advantage of the nation’s quick economic development. The newly created region will be led by Santhosh Viswanathan, VP and MD-India region, who will use his experience to promote value and customer centricity.

“We see massive business opportunities and growing momentum in India. By creating a separate region, we are enabling our teams, including our strong engineering base in India, to work closely with our customers. It is a very exciting time for Intel in India, and I am thrilled to lead our business in the country,” said Santhosh.

Santhosh has a master’s degree in business administration and an engineering degree in industrial engineering and management.

Santhosh and Hans both have a great deal of leadership experience at Intel and are renowned for their commitment to meeting the needs of Intel clients. Hans Chuang and Santhosh Viswanathan, who were appointed by Intel to oversee the SMG organizations in Asia-Pacific and India, respectively, demonstrate the company’s strategy’s emphasis on coordinating organizational structures with changing market conditions. In order to position itself for long-term success in these expanding regions, Intel intends to improve its responsiveness and efficacy in addressing the particular possibilities and challenges within each region by utilizing its internal leadership skills.
