Indian Staffing Federation elected Lohit Bhatia as President

The Indian Staffing Federation (ISF) announced in a statement that Bhatia, the President of Workforce Management, has been re-elected for a two-year term beginning in April 2024 and ending in April 2026.

The Indian Staffing Federation, an industry association, announced on Monday that Lohit Bhatia and Manmeet Singh have been re-elected to the positions of President and Vice President, respectively. The Indian Staffing Federation (ISF) announced in a statement that Bhatia, the President of Workforce Management, has been re-elected for a two-year term beginning in April 2024 and ending in April 2026.

The group also announced that Manmeet Singh, the FirstMeridian Global Services CEO, had been chosen to serve as vice president. He takes Pramod Pachisia’s place.

“India is the third largest market, employing 5.4 million formal contract workers in 2023. The Rs 1.34 trillion contract/flexi staffing industry in India plays a crucial role in driving formal employment growth across various sectors,” Bhatia said.

According to him, regulation of the contract workforce sector is necessary to guarantee that employees get reasonable compensation and legal protection.
