Bangalore based Kuldeep Goyal has moved on from Unilever and has joined Apollo Tyres as the Global Head- IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security. He served for over nine years in multiple IT management and leadership roles at Unilever, according to sources. In his new role at Apollo Tyres, he will be leading the company’s IT domains including IT security, cloud services, SAP, IT Infra – Network, on-prem and end-user computing.
He will be leading operations globally with a major focus on APMEA (Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa) and Europe region and will be reporting to Hizmy Hassen, who is the Chief Digital Officer of the tyre company.
Working towards digital transformation and automation of several manufacturing processes, Apollo Tyres is an Indian multinational tyre manufacturing company headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana.
As a global technology leader at Apollo Tyres, Goyal will be responsible for accelerating the digital transformation agenda, strengthening cyber-security readiness and most importantly, the tyre company’s cloud migration.
Goyal has over 15 years of experience in IT management and digital transformation which includes network, infrastructure, IT security and other key areas. In his last assignment at Hindustan Unilever, he worked as the Lead IT Manager in the global technology services team and handled multiple IT domains such as global network services, M&A integration, enterprise computing, IT Innovation and Information security.
