Jindal Steel & Power appoints Rajesh Nair as Head – HR

Nair held the positions of Executive President and CHRO at Polycab India before joining Jindal Steel & Power.

Rajesh Nair is the newly appointed Head of Human Resources at Jindal Steel & Power.

“After 28 years of Tata Motors across business and HR roles and 3 years serving as the CHRO at Polycab, I am excited to join Jindal Steel & Power, a leading business house with a significant presence in the space of steel, power, mining, and infrastructure,” Nair shared in a LinkedIn post.

Nair has over 34 years of HR expertise in the mining, automotive, appliance, and electrical and electronics manufacturing industries.

Nair held the positions of Executive President and CHRO at Polycab India before joining Jindal Steel & Power. Prior to it, he was employed by Tata Motors as Head of HR, Sales, & Customer Care for Commercial Vehicles. Nair worked for Pertech Computers as well.

Nair graduated from the University of Mumbai with a BE in mechanical engineering and the Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai, with an MBA in marketing.
