LTIMindtree named Chetana Patnaik as CHRO

Patnaik was the head of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and human resources for the Transportation Infrastructure business, an independent division of L&T, before being appointed as CHRO of LTIMindtree.

Chetana Patnaik will take over as LTIMindtree’s Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) on April 1, 2024. Manoj Shikarkhane, the current CHRO, will be moving on to a new position within the organization.

The IT services company is going through other leadership changes at the same time as this one. A few weeks prior, Vinit Teredesai, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), had announced his resignation in light of Vipul Chandra’s nomination to the role.

According to a regulatory filing, Shikarkhane’s new role will involve supporting the CEO’s office on a number of strategic organizational initiatives.

Patnaik was the head of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and human resources for the Transportation Infrastructure business, an independent division of L&T, before being appointed as CHRO of LTIMindtree.

“In her previous role, she was responsible for overseeing the entire spectrum of HR functions for a workforce exceeding 6000, focusing on creating a future-ready talent pipeline, strengthening organizational learning and development efforts, and fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity through organization development and diversity initiatives,” the company stated in its filing.

As the HR representative during L&T’s acquisition of Mindtree Limited, Patnaik was crucial in helping to form the first leadership group and easing the HR integration between LTI and Mindtree.

In 2012, she started working for the L&T Group as the Head of Strategic Leadership Talent Acquisition in the Mumbai office of A.M. Naik & S.N. Subrahmanyan. Patnaik has over 27 years of expertise in a variety of human resource-related roles. She has previously worked for companies like Gati, Reliance Infrastructure, and GVK Group.
