A portion of the 130-year-old corporate empire Jhaver Group, Prodapt is a communications and connection sector specialist that offers its telecom and cable clients end-to-end IT/software architectural consultancy, application development, systems integration, testing, maintenance, and support solutions.

Prodapt, an IT services company funded by private equity, announced on Wednesday that Manish Vyas, a former senior executive at Tech Mahindra, has joined the company as an executive director and board member.

Under the direction of senior Standard Chartered Private Equity executives, the private equity firm Affirma Capital acquired a minority interest in Prodapt in 2019 for a sum of $75 million.

After more than 23 years with Tech Mahindra, Vyas joins Prodapt, which is based in Chennai. According to a release from Prodapt, he will lead the leadership team in advancing strategic objectives.

“With a comprehensive background spanning IT, business processes, network services, systems integration, consulting, and large-scale outsourcing, Manish brings a wealth of experience in delivering innovative solutions to achieve critical client objectives,” it added.

On November 17 of last year, Vyas resigned from Tech Mahindra, the fifth-largest software services company in India.

In addition to serving in executive capacities as CEO of the Network Services and BPO business units at Tech Mahindra, Vyas was the president of the communications, media, and entertainment (CME) division. Furthermore, in his role as Chief Operating Officer of pivotal enterprises such as Experience Design and Digital Engineering, he provided strategic counsel to propel sector-leading expansion.

“With his exceptional track record as a visionary leader, Manish brings strategic thinking and innovative solutions that have successfully guided numerous global communications service providers and large technology companies through their digital transformations. His joining Prodapt comes at a pivotal moment as we march towards our plans of achieving $1 billion in revenues,” said Vedant Jhaver, founder and chairman of Prodapt.

A portion of the 130-year-old corporate empire Jhaver Group, Prodapt is a communications and connection sector specialist that offers its telecom and cable clients end-to-end IT/software architectural consultancy, application development, systems integration, testing, maintenance, and support solutions.

It operates in more than 30 countries in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, employing over 6,000 technology and domain professionals.

Prodapt declared in May of last year that it was investing $7 million to grow its activities in Panama.

“I’m energised to join the Prodapt Board and the leadership team, where I get to do what I enjoy the most: solve customer problems at scale through innovation and technology. At Prodapt, we’ll disrupt the status quo by leveraging AI and emerging tech while prioritizing our people and our planet. I fully share Vedant’s vision of making Prodapt a globally recognized tech powerhouse, solving meaningful problems with cutting-edge solutions,” Vyas said on his appointment.
