Ranveer Allahbadia's YouTube accounts restored after being hacked by cybercriminals on Wednesday

Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, has successfully restored his popular YouTube channels after they were hacked late Wednesday night, September 25. The intrusion, which occurred at 11:30 p.m., resulted in the destruction of all videos, and the hackers renamed both channels. One channel was renamed “@Elon.trump.tesla_live2024” and the other “@Tesla.event.trump_2024,” with programming about Tesla CEO Elon Musk and US presidential candidate Donald Trump. Initially, YouTube removed both channels, leading viewers to a “404 not found” notice that read, “This page isn’t available. Sorry about that. Try searching for something else.”

But since then, all of the videos on the “Ranveer Allahbadia” and “BeerBiceps” channels have been entirely restored and are once again available to watch. Fans may access the videos on other tabs, but the “Home” portions of both channels continue to show the notice, “This channel doesn’t have any content,” which has caused some confusion.

The original account “@ranveerallahbadia” and all 111 videos from the “Ranveer Allahbadia” channel have been restored. With 9.4 million subscribers, the channel is home to The Ranveer Show (TRS) Hindi podcast. The podcast, which is well-known for including some of the most prominent figures in India, touches on a variety of subjects, such as Bollywood, entrepreneurship, history, and science.

BeerBiceps channel back online

All 280 videos on the “BeerBiceps” channel, which helped Allahbadia’s career get started, are back online. Currently, it has the username “@MyChannel-e4p,” but the content is still the same. The channel’s original concentration was on lifestyle and fitness, but it has subsequently expanded to include a variety of subjects. The channel’s description reads: “BeerBiceps is the home for The Ranveer Show, or TRS—Happiness Through Curiosity. A show where we host the world’s greatest success stories and try to uncover their secrets to success. We cover everyone from entrepreneurs to Bollywood film stars to athletes. Every conversation on #TheRanveerShow is an intense learning experience for the viewer.”

Ranveer Allahbadia’s reaction to the hack

Following the hack, Allahbadia posted a number of humorous stories on Instagram to express his feelings. In one tale, he joked, “Was nice knowing y’all,” and wondered, “Is this the end of my YouTube career?” alongside a picture of himself wearing a cat-eye mask. He sarcastically wrote, “Death of BeerBiceps met with death of diet,” in another post from Singapore’s Changi Airport, where he was celebrating the incident with a platter of vegan burgers and fries.

Allahbadia responded to the hack by posting tales and videos on his own Instagram account. In one, there was a striking black-and-white video of him sprinting into the forest with the message, “Me after seeing that my channel got hacked.” In another, he posted a reflective video of himself by a train window, simply titled, “Dear YouTube fans.”

No PR stunt: Allahbadia clears the air

To refute claims that the hacking was a PR gimmick, Allahbadia posted a correction on Instagram. He gave his supporters assurances, “No jokes, no PR. Working on next steps.” He added, “Just feeling calm right now. Life always shows you the next doorway,” concluding with folded hand emojis.
