Chris Shaw, the former CEO of Cormark Securities, has been appointed co-head of Raymond James Financial’s Canadian investment banking division.
Craig McDougall, the head of investment banking and M&A at Cormark, will collaborate closely with Shaw, who worked there for sixteen years as an independent advisor.
In a note to workers, CEO Jamie Coulter stated that McDougall will take over as head of M&A after a six-month transition period, heading the advisory M&A business in Canada.
The business anticipates Shaw joining on April 22.

It employs 1,700 people in Canada as agents and staff.
