In addition to Zoox, other self-driving robotaxi businesses that have been the subject of NHTSA investigations about the performance of autonomous driving cars include General Motors (GM.N.), which opens the new tab Cruise, and Alphabet (GOOGL.O.), which opens the new tab Waymo.

Cruise announced on Monday that it has restarted operations in Dallas, Texas, using a limited fleet of human drivers. The company had previously suspended operations following an October of last year incident involving one of its robots in San Francisco.
