Ronny Tan has recently been appointed as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Manulife Indonesia, an insurance company, the company announced.
For more than two decades now, Ronny has worked in the BFSI sector as an industry specialist. Ronny has focused on enterprise digital transformation, change management, mobility, artificial intelligence, cloud, customer experience, and analytics across his career.
Previously, at Commonwealth Bank Indonesia, he was the Deputy CIO and Head of IT Architect and Engineering. Before that, for more than seven years, he worked with PT Asuransi Jiwa Astra as a VP and Head of IT.
He started his career with Bank Bali in 1998, and apart from his aforementioned recent stints, he has since worked with some of the most reputed global and regional banks in Indonesia, such as Citibank, PT Bank ANZ Indonesia, and AIG.
On his new appointment, Ronny wrote on LinkedIn, “I am humbled to join this great company and look forward to bringing the most value from technology to our customers and stakeholders.”
