January 2024: Sanjib Sahoo, EVP, Global Technology, and Chief Digital Officer of Ingram Micro, has been awarded the 2024 Hind Rattan Award for “keeping the flag of India high”. The prestigious accolade is granted annually to eminent non-resident persons of Indian origin (NRIs) by the NRI Welfare Society of India (NRI Welfare Society Of India) in recognition of their outstanding services, achievements, and contributions in their respective fields.
Born and raised in India, Sahoo came to the United States to further his education and transform businesses. His proven ability to drive business forward while transforming organizations from the inside out has differentiated Sahoo throughout his career.
He is celebrated as an Indian-American business and technology icon known for his growth mindset and culture-centric, people-led approach to digital transformation. “The success of any digital transformation is more about your team—the talent within—than the technology,” said Sahoo.
Sahoo, a believer in the art of possible, is credited with the successful digitization of two industries. In his current role as CDO for Ingram Micro, Sahoo is responsible for leading the digital transformation of a worldwide leader in technology distribution and is the brainchild behind Xvantage.
