Vats is Pidilite Industries’ deputy managing director at the moment. He held the positions of CEO and Managing Director at EPL (previously known as Essel Propack) before joining the firm.
Sudhanshu Vats was named Managing Director Designate by the Pidilite Industries Board of Directors. Additionally, Kavinder Singh’s appointment as Executive Director and Joint Managing Director Designate was accepted by the Board.
After the present Managing Director, Bharat Puri, completes his term in April 2025, they will assume leadership as Managing Director and Joint Managing Director.
Commenting on the announcement, M. B. Parekh, Executive Chairman of Pidilite Industries, said “The appointments of Sudhanshu and Kavinder will reflect the next phase of the Pidilite leadership journey. I look forward to working with the two of them in building the Pidilite of the future”.

He began his career in 1991 as a Management Trainee with Hindustan Lever and worked in a variety of sales, marketing, and general management leadership capacities for nearly twenty years.
Singh is Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India’s (MHRIL) current CEO and Managing Director. During his leadership, MHRIL expanded from a roughly USD 200 million corporation to a billion dollar market capitalization. He has worked for Asian Paints, ITC Ltd., and Pidilite Industries, among other companies, in the consumer goods industry.
