The Biden administration contemplates blacklisting many Chinese semiconductor manufacturers linked to Huawei Technologies Co.

The Biden administration is considering blacklisting several Chinese semiconductor businesses tied to Huawei Technologies Co. (HWT.UL), citing people familiar with the situation.

The companies that could be banned include chipmakers Qingdao Si’En, SwaySure, and Shenzhen Pensun Technology Co., according to the article, while US officials are also considering sanctions against memory chipmaker ChangXin Memory Technologies.
