Subject to IRDAI regulatory approval, Tata AIA Life Insurance stated on Tuesday that Venkatachalam H has been appointed as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
According to a release, Venkatachalam will succeed current CEO and MD Naveen Tahilyani, who is moving to a new position within the Tata Group and has been promoted to Non-Executive Director of Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Ltd.

Venkatachalam has over 27 years of expertise in asset management, custodial services, and life insurance. Key account management, business and process development, strategy, and sales and distribution are among his areas of experience.
