On Thursday, internet services of Verizon Communications Inc’s were down for thousands of users, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com.
Incidents of issues with the wireless carrier were reported by more than two thousand people, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources including user-submitted errors on its platform.

On Thursday, the outage started spiking around 12 am ET.
Verizon did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
