China Establishes National Standards for Automotive Semiconductors

China’s industry ministry unveiled plans for a set of national standards for semiconductors used in the automobile industry.

China’s industry ministry announced plans for a set of national standards for semiconductors used in the car industry on Monday.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), China will develop more than 30 essential automotive semiconductor standards by 2025 and more than 70 related standards by 2030.
