Indara, an Australian technology company, has announced the appointment of Tanya Whiteing as its Chief Information Officer (CIO). With over 30 years of experience, Whiteing is expected to enhance Indara’s technology capabilities and align them with the company’s ambitious growth strategy as per ITwire reports.

Indara’s CEO, Cameron Evans, expressed his enthusiasm about the new addition to the team, stating, “Technology and IT are key enablers of our strategy and critical to achieving our growth ambitions. As the CIO, Whiteing will lead Indara’s technology strategy, aligning it with the company’s overall business direction and driving future capabilities from both team and technology perspectives. One of her primary tasks will be transitioning the company’s various platforms towards a streamlined, unified digital approach, bringing all platforms under one cohesive system.

Whiteing commented on the importance of digital connectivity in today’s society, especially given the impact of COVID-19. Having previously held significant technology-focused roles, including CIO at construction materials supplier Boral and Business and Technology Services director for food manufacturer George Weston Foods, Whiteing brings a wealth of experience in both corporate and consultancy spaces to her new role at Indara. Her background in professional services consulting at renowned firms like Deloitte and Accenture further adds to her impressive technology-led credentials.
