While improving availability of IT infrastructure, the collaboration will reduce overall IT operational costs

To extend the modernisation of the German elevator maker – TK Elevator’s (Information Technology) IT infrastructure in Europe and Africa, Infosys, on Thursday announced a seven-year global strategic collaboration with the former.

Infosys will consolidate the global service desk and workplace operations as part of the deal.

Artificial Intelligence-powered IT helpdesk services, digital workplace management, as well as network services, powered by its Cobalt suite will be provided by Infosys, according to an exchange filing.

By leveraging its deep domain expertise, and IT infrastructure modernization capabilities, the Bengaluru-based IT services provider will aim to boost cyber-security and enhance the digital experience for TK Elevator’s end users.

While improving availability of IT infrastructure, the collaboration will reduce overall IT operational costs.

With Infosys as a strategic partner, we are confident to achieve our target of automation, innovation and efficiency across the IT landscape,” said Susan Poon, global chief information officer of TK Elevator.
