To accelerate artificial intelligence (AI) deployment for businesses around the world, Lenovo has announced its plans to invest $1 billion over three years to expand its infrastructure solutions.

To help accelerate innovation by enabling the use of generative AI and delivering cognitive decisions at scale throughout remote locations across financial, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and smart city applications, the investment will expand the company’s AI-ready portfolio of smart devices, infrastructure solutions, and services.

To expand Lenovo’s artificial intelligence innovator programme, the company’s investment strategy includes an additional $100 million commitment. Created with 45 ISV partners across its end-to-end ecosystem, the programme has delivered over 150 AI-ready solutions.

Within high-growth sectors, the solutions bring artificial intelligence from the lab to scale and enable technology shifts. Customers can more rapidly deploy and leverage cutting-edge AI capabilities, like generative AI, computer vision, prediction, and virtual assistants, by leveraging AI-ready solutions.
