We are seeing that the technologies have continued to thrive and grow, says Faheem Momin, Founder & Director of Wow InfoBiz

We have fully adopted cloud technologies in-house and also realised that clients are also excited about adopting the same. We’re keen to adopt AI, ML, Blockchain and more coming in the future as they are game changers in the coming era

When asked about the founding story of Wow InfoBiz, Faheem Momin, Founder & Director of Wow InfoBiz, in an exclusive interview with CIO News, said, “After working in an odd mix of roles and having years of experience from being a business analyst to a business head, I decided to start our own company and left my job in September 2019. I started working on exploring the ideas for my own venture. Then I met Mr. Fahad, who has years of experience in technical skills and was looking to explore his passion for starting his own venture. Our common ideas of exploring technology in various ways have made us stand on the same platform. Then we finally decided to come up with the idea of starting our own start-up named Wow InfoBiz Pvt Ltd in March 2020, but to our woe, the moment we thought of registering our own domain, a complete lockdown was declared and imposed.

“Lockdown put a fire in my belly.”

We had a few projects in our hands to be delivered within a short span of time, but since the offices were closed and we did not have any place to work, after waiting for a few days, we finally decided to start our operations from our building terrace. After a lot of hassle and complications, we were able to deliver our projects before the deadline, which motivated us more towards our goal.

When asked about technologies he has implemented to take his business to digital platforms, he said: RPA, Business Intelligence (BI), SAP, Web Application Development, Mobile Application Development, Enterprise Application Development, and many more.

When asked if his firm has completed the cloud adoption journey and what technologies he plans to implement in the future to take his firm to higher digital levels, he said that apart from development and servers, everything is on the cloud. We have fully adopted cloud technologies in-house and also realised that clients are also excited about adopting the same. We’re keen to adopt AI, ML, Blockchain and more coming in the future as they are game changers in the coming era.

When asked how his team provides customer service and measures customer experience digitally, he said, “Basically, we deploy our resources at the customer’s place to work closely with the customer’s requirements, to avoid ambiguities, and to make the project successful.” Somehow, we’ve made our internal teams, as well as those who work on in-house and offshore projects, available whenever needed and also provided support for the on-site team. We’re using different tools for measuring the performance of employees, such as JIRA, Click Up, etc.

He highlighted, “We are seeing that the technologies have continued to thrive and grow.”
